A rather whirlwind 72 h of activity (fly to Calgary Friday morning for meeting with Mark's, two symposium talks in Kananaskis Saturday, and LONG routing from Cgy-SF-Osaka), and I find myself on the other side of the world in Kobe, Japan. I'm here at the generous invitation of my colleague Nari Kondo, and will also be visiting colleagues in Tsukuba and Hiroshima.Still jet-lagged, so here's the most important shot - of dinner last night!
